@Alicia5962 That's not fair, Hype was just doing his job and wanted the best location for the video. No one is to blame. God called Aaliyah home because at 22 she finished her journey here. I'm quite sure she is VERY happy with what she left on earth, the lives shes touched and would not return here if you paid her. Rest in Paradise Aaliyah!

i personally i blame Hype williams who got real quiet post the incident. she didn't even want to film in the bahamas .she was reported to have been satisfied with filming in Florida.Hype caught a yacht back and Aaliyah ,who was on her artist grind back toback promoting her album got assigned a cessna WHICH SHE REPORTEDLY In Newsweek article September 10 ,2001 was hesitant to get on the small plane because she did not like small planes.The whole thing was a bowl of wrong and didn't like it
