Author of a world best seller book "The Power of Now" 1999 Eckhart Tolle points toward the "spaciousness" that surounds every object and every event in our lives. It must be obvious, but maybe to many of us unnoticed.

  • This is the next step in Human theology. You don't have to give up your faith nor give into any other. All this man speaks of should be recognised as the foundation of faith and be the common denominator overriding all differences. Being conscious or BEING is most important.

This concept will be unpalatable for some but I think Christ, Allah, Buddha, Confucius, Krishna, Ganesha, Vishnu, Shiva, et al are all good mates in the spiritual domain and that they rather like what Eckhart is saying!!

  • it's not about religion you guys. it's just not. this man sits on stage and gently leads people back to themselves.

  • @Popability Re-read my posting - leave ppl alone. If you know so much about this man, why sit in here with your silly, negative remarks. Again - just go away. Whoa, monkey, take a banana break.

  • @Seasurfjoy Whoa! You are doing just what Eckhart says not to do; take a position and defend it...you are simply not following the teachings.

  • @Popability What is the matter with you? Where was it ever claimed, let alone inferred that this man "is on the level of Jesus, etc" Please. Listen, digest or just go away.

  • It's funny how this guy is raking in the big bucks but the only thing Jesus ever got was nailed to a cross. Don't get me wrong; I think this guy does help some people with their mental noise, but he doesn't come up to the level of Jesus, Buddha, et al., who knew the true meaning of self-denial and surrender.

  • @ghostspider01 - Well said. There is no debate, there is not even a need for debate. All there is is Listening and Inquiry.

  • @SeasonsEndtheband Are you from America? Christianity has been here from the beginning.

  • @joeforHistruth You really can't be serious... Or are this rumors true, I heard about christian fundamentalists in the US of A?

  • @ballaststoffel2 Apparently you weren't reading. And in truth we don't find God, He finds us. He found me, saved me and has given me eternal life, all because of Christ!

  • @joeforHistruth

I am closing this chapter, now.

As I said, when you have found god, just let me know.
