The famous house of Amityville in which the demonic activity chronicled by George and Kathy Lutz in their 1977 book, "The Amityville Horror" was put on the market today at $1.15 Million. And with that news comes the resurrection of old debates from more than 30 years ago. Did it really happen or was it all a contrived hoax? If not a hoax, then what really happened? And what caused it?

what is transindental meditation? or however you spell it

If the house did not have any demonic activity then how do you explain how all 6 of the murder victims were lying on their stomachs as they were shot? They would have awoke from the noises of the other shots. Even the police were extremely baffled by this.

There was not struggle and that the victims were proven not to be drugged, also non of the neighbors heard the gunshots.

This is all very strange. An investigator said that it was impossible for one man to have committed this crime like this

@mishakol129 I agree most certainly that there WAS demonic activity in the house. My argument was that it was invited in by it's occupants, not that the house itself was cursed or possessed.

@TheEmilychurchill That's known as "sleep paralysis" and has happened to many people. It's happened to me a couple of times. If you can speak, you can command it to stop and leave in "Jesus' name". If you have difficulty speaking, you can pray it away. Agree to nothing the entities tell you.

@anameisnotimportant yea its scary! i think and i've read that sleep paralaysis is where your mind wakes up but your body is still paralized but your still dreaming. there is different stages of sleep where when you fall into the dreaming stage your brain paralizes the body to protect its self.

This kind of sleeping councious thing is kinda common to me but I realized that it only happens in certain circunstances, especially when I need to wake up early in the morning. I feel like this is some kind of, you know, "failure" of our brain, because it needs to suppress our movement so we are able to sleep. Sometimes it seems like our brain just put our mind "awake" but our body remains paralized by the normal sleeping. It's terrifying tho anyway

@joshallem another time while trying to sleep i'd suddenly feel a hard bash on my head, like being punched and then slowly being dragged out of bed by my feet, so i remeber having to hold onto to the top of my bed to stop it. of course this did physically happen, must be inbetween sleep and being concious, feels so real.

@joshallem i'e had that 3 or 4 times before, 3 times in one sleep. i read it is very frigtening but for some reason i wasn't scared. i couldn't move or talk, but i could hear and see a little. a dog that i couldn't see was walking around me and came on the bed. then it happened again and i thought it was my sister, again i could only hear and see and i could see a black figure squatting in the middle of the room, but i thought it was my sister. i eventually managed to snap out of it and shout.
