It's actually useful when problems arise. You'll need to know how to get into this if you call tech support, although at this point, it's likely discontinued with this model.

Mines charge point is corroded and it won't hold a charge any help please???

I'd get some Acetone (Nail Polish Remover), or if you have MEK (Methyl Ethyl Keytone), apply to the corroded area with a swab, NOT DIRECT. This stuff will ruin the plastic.
Either that, or get a very thin file, and gently scrape the corrosion away.

Was doing that as well. I played with everything before making this, and other times.
The ones they make now are better. This antenna tends to lose bearings when there's lots of trees, and mid-rise buildings.
