Peter Cook.. a comedic genius. His mind, so sharp, so relevlent, and yet, irrevelent. A typical "two fingers" up to the establishment, and to the rest of the world. BTW...I think i'll have this played at my funeral. My own "two - fingered" salute to the living!

It turns out the disc as a 45rpm first entered the British Charts (NME) in July 1965. I remember listening to it on a (valve) car radio during a wet bank holday trip around Devon in August 1965.

Played this at my brothers funeral along with the ying tong song by the goons, he was only 58 and had suffered from early onset Alzhiemers disease for 6 years, his funeral was gonna be hard for all so we thought we would try make it a little more bearable and hopefully raise a few smiles along with the tears.....it worked :0) Miss ya loads phil xxx
