I picked up a few of these cool little LED message boards from Tesco the other day. They were selling them off at £3 each or 5 for £10. So, being the big geek that I am I grabbed a few of them to mess around with:-). They're great fun for creating your own custom messages and simple sprite art/animations.

In this video I give a quick demonstration of how they work and to program them.

Thanks for watching! :-)

  • I've never seen these in my local Tesco :(

If you find any more, can I buy one from you?

  • @LarryBundyJr Sure, I'll see if I can get some more.

  • i opened my one up, it's called the "KGB161" and can be ordered from some chinese sites, but i've only seen than at a minimum order of 500.

  • @Timfc1 thanks for the info, that should be helpful to some people. I'm sure places like DealExtreme will have something similar to this for anyone outside the UK or unable to get to a Tescos.

  • link please

  • @Sillyzombie666 They're showing as discontinued online now so maybe try in store. Here's the original link if it helps...(change the X's to make working link)
