He coming to the Browns

What do you mean can't throw the deep ball??? Are you insane?
-
He can't throw the deep ball. He's a beast when he's throwing it short and quick though.
-
Don't forget about Case Keenum. The man can ball!
-
have a bad season for Barkley

@swishabc1 What would sack % even matter in this situation? Barkley plays in a pro system whereas Jones has it easy in OU with tons of screens and short passes. Barkley has a good pocket presence and in my opinion is the 2nd best QB in the draft.

@USCTrojansFan420 He also Needs to Improve His Velocity, His passes are usually wobbly. He Needs to Be Unselfish sometimes and Just check the damn thing down.

As of right now Barkley reminds me of Matt Schaub. They both have similar mechanics and both can make limited plays with their feet if the play breaks down but Barkley had to learn that sometimes throwing the ball away is not that bad instead he always tries to make way too many plays which results in Interceptions or a sack and he will need to improve upon that before he goes to the NFL.
Of the 7 QBs that could go in the first 3 rounds, Luck, Barkley, Jones, Lindley, Cousins, Griffin and Foles:
He's fourth in Sack% behind Jones, Lindley, and Luck, despite having Smith and Kalil as his tackles.
He's 7th in Adjusted INT% and Sixth in Non-Adjusted INT% ahead of only Lindley
He's third in YPC behind Lindley and Luck. He's 7th in YPA.
To summarize: He takes too many sacks, he throws too many picks, and he's right in the middle in terms of throw difficulty.

@swishabc1 I think it is so difficult to actually quantify stuff with stats though especially sack percentage compared to a guy like Landry Jones who is in a system that it is almost impossible to get sacked a lot.
I think there is a decent sized separation from Luck to Barkley/Lindley. I might wind up putting Lindley ahead of Barkley before the season starts.
But would take Barkley over Jones as of right now.
I do agree taking too long with some of his throws though and needs more work.
