@twddy Thanks for the reply! The link doesn't work for me, but that's alright - I can improvise.
I'll probably just go with a Magnaflow straight through muffler in the stock location, when I do get to it.

but it's just ideas that are floating now

but regardless of that i want to make a little sleeper out of it. i need a B230 or B234 squirter block and a aftermarket T3/T4 turbo and i'm set...
i would like to make about 400+ HP

I am with turbobricks. I'm a swedish tank owner! i have a 1988 240 DL sedan with 300 000+ KMS on it!! the engine is bullet proof!
a good example of a tank is when a city bus rubbed my fender and little damage was caused. do that to the newer volvos...
or when i smashed a mazda 3 with my car, i recked the mazda and my 240's bumper just slid off! i slid it back on and it's still running!!
if there would be war pull out the 200, 700 and 900 series and u will survive!
Damn, this sounds quite a bit better than the glasspacked 3" side-exit on my 244T. I think I might just weld up a full length 3" system with a single muffler in the rear... the blaringly loud side exit is getting a bit old.
Couple questions if you don't mind too much - the muffler is straight through, right? (If you happen to know) And are there any resonators in the system? Mine drones like crazy.
Awesome 245 by the way! looks awesomely clean and well-kept. long live OG 240 turbos!

@cherrybomb1493 Here's a picture from the SAM website (Swedish): sambilmode.se/products/images/Volvo/200/95082625.gif
A high flow cat was welded in the pipe just behind the downpipe. The whole thing took some adjusting to get the fit right, but it was doable.

Hey where did you buy this exahust from? I heard of SAM but it would cost me big bucks if I order it from Sweden (I live in Canada). Right now I have a IPD/Starla 2.25" "Sport exhaust" and I'm not to satisfied with it.
Is there a North American Distributor?

@poleposition01 I bought it second hand from someone who ordered it direct from SAM in Sweden. They do ship to the US and Canada, but yes, he paid big bucks for it. I think it was about USD$850 shipped new. You might find one used, like I did. Get familiar with turbobricks if you haven't already. The members there can help you out with everything 240.
