Dedicated to a great son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, comedian, musician, singer and gifted artist. He has touched so many of us and we will all miss him so very, very much. Dad, we love you and as Rob said, in time we will be right behind you. Play your music well for the good Lord and his angels. Please watch over us all. We will do as you said for us all to do "SMILE" Thank you dad please say hello to mom for us all, sing on!
Needed a little "bobby" fix today......feels like you've been gone longer than a year....but listening and watching you now brings me back to those days when we gigged, laughed and loved together. Miss you more than ever, pal...... Hope you found some good gigs with that big band in the sky.
Love always, Pete Zito, 3rd "Petie"

I wrote about Bobby Burnett in my book "Hard to Believe - The behind-the-scenes story of the 2008 World Champion Philadelphia Phillies". What surprised me most about Bobby was his genuine care for everyone he ran in to. He is probably one of the most underated entertainers in the history of Philadelphia. Every time I hear his song at Citizens Bank Park I think about his smile and big handshake. A great, great man! I'm happy I was able to meet a true giant among men before he passed!

This man is the reason I love those releases from Pocket Songs so much. What an amazing caliber of voice, unlike any I had ever heard of at the time. I wish an official Bobby Burnett CD would come out someday... people really need to hear how talented this man was!

A classy tribute to a very classy guy. He had the kind of "class" that didn't need pretense, it was there, in his bones. Tremendously gifted with multi talents, he was still a regular guy. He kept his priorities clear: God, Family, Friends, Art, Career - in a business that can easily obscure them. He could make you laugh with a joke, cry with a song, smile with a story, and feel his warmth. I miss hour long phone conversations. I miss great stories & songs. I miss my friend Bobby.

Hey, Bobby...I spent some time yesterday harmonizing with you on the Pocket Song you did with the Al Raymond Band......it was like you were standing next to me like in the old days when we gigged so much together. Miss you, Pal.....hope you are swinging up there somewhere......over the rainbow.
