This is Ryan, one of the hundreds of people that worked in the background at the US Embassy in Bogota to help free these guys. You always hear people talk about how disgusting EVERYONE else is. That people are greedy, selfish, rude, ect. Some of you people are only proving these comments to be true in your own words. You haven't a clue as to what these guys and their families had to endure. I only wish upon you the same grief and despair. Only then would you understand.

Hello Lauren!! I can't belive it's really you. I'm from colombia and I live in San Antonio Tx. I just finished the book today and I couldn't help but cry all the time, specially at the end. God bless you and your father and Marc and Tom. I still pray for the military prisoners that are in chains as I write this message.

i met Marc today at my moms work he is a grate job he is a grate guy. my heart is with him i am so happy they are home with there familys. you need to read there book it is amazing and after the 1st page you will start crying. they are all amazing guys and they are my new heros
