I recenlty went to the 2011 street party at Noel Green for Wills and Kate wedding.My mother told me that I was at the 1977 street party.Didnt know someone filmed it lol

I agree. I was living in south wales in 1977 and we had similar scenes there. Footage like this just shows how much things have changed in this country and im saddnened by it. Its not the Britain i grew up in anymore. Great piece of film showing true community spirit as it was back then.

This is how great Britain used to be. I remember our street taking any opportunity to have a street party. We had one for the 77 jubilee and a big one when Charles and Dianna got hitched. We did games, had a performer and adh fancy dress competitions, life has changed so much and not for the better!

I lived in Noel Green from 1968 to 1978. I thought the houses were built in mid 50's.
