  • @eluminated Oh, and "hostile to business?"

Really? So the countless loopholes and concessions to the corporations in the health care/financial reform bills are bad for business?

What about the small-business aid bill that's currently stalled in the Senate by the Republicans? Is aid for business....bad for business?

  • @Republica101 You know, if the government actually gave incentives for the rich to invest, they might actually do it. The question is: what is the real motivation for the Republican tax cuts? To help society as a whole, or for the rich to help themselves? There is some merit to the conservative argument just as there is for the liberal one, but one actually needs to follow through with it and not just use it as an excuse to line ones pockets. :P

  • Liberals...for the love of God, Alah, some random tree you worship, whatever....PLEASE take economics 101, Your policies have nearly bankrupted Europe and are quickly doing the same to the USA....We can't survive any more liberalism!!! LEARN ECONOMICS!!!!!!

  • @Sensedog And yet in 1987 when Reagan did that we had an economic meltdown.

  • @nhstategop Yes, tax hikes are disastrous when aimed at those who cannot afford to pay them. The wealthy elite? Not so much.

  • If another CCC were commissioned I wonder how many jobless Americans would get in line for it?

I know this much, It would't beat the welfare line on a good day.

  • Anyone who thinks this is a fairy tale should visit Michigan, Maine Vermont Rhodeisland or Wisconsin for a rude awakening. Tax hikes are disasterous.

  • Those streams of yellow liquid don't look like gold

  • How about another $800 billion in STIMILUS. Let's see. That's 20 million $40,000 per year jobs. How many did we get? We lost 5 million.

$800 billion and 25 million jobs in the hole? How did that happen? Where did the money go?

    They are ALL crooks.

  • alright, what is flipping wrong with you people? You act like the rich would NEVER donate money, I say that some taxes are needed, but we do not need the bush tax cuts to expire/Obama tax raises to happen (it's the dam same thing people don't deny it), crud I had something else to say, but I'll stop ranting for now.
