Recordings from police dispatcher in San Diego officer's shooting - Off. Jeremy Henwood

"All officers, all officers. There is an officer shot. There is an officer shot."

Those were the chilling words heard on police radio Saturday night, 8-6-2011, broadcast by a woman who stopped to help mortally wounded San Diego police Officer Jeremy Henwood."

This audio clip may be graphic and not suitable for all listeners... and it not uploaded to You Tube for any disrespect to the officer or any of those involved.

It is to pay tribute not only to officer Henwood for his heroic service to the community of San Diego as a San Diego Police Officer and to his country as well, as a captain in the Marine reserves, but to the others I think needs to be recognized as a HERO as well! The San Diego Police Dispatcher, who not only handeled this situation very professional but remaining very calm, as she was listening to one of her offieres being gunned down, the female civilian who came to the aid of Officer Henwood and put out the 11-99 on the air and risked her life to do so, and last by NOT least, "ABLE" (Air Borne Law Enforcement). Job well done to ALL

We are all very sorry for the loss of Off. Henwood. May you rest in peace my friend.
