This was the weakest of the 70's Rams teams... Ferragamo wasn't as good as Haden. L.A. disappointed so many times and finally got over the hump.

9-0 Rams. Rams kicked 3 field goals. Tampa was the host for this game because they were the #2 seed in the NFC with a 10-6 record. Rams were 9-7 and had upset the #1 NFC seed Dallas 21-19 the week before. Tampa beat Philladelphia 24-17. Bucs hosted the wild card winner because from 1970-1989 the #1 seed and the wild card or wild card winner could not meet in the divisional round if they were from the same division.
