1961 Chevy Impala

This is one of the most original (unmolested) 1961 Chevy Impalas on the road today. This is a very clean vehicle that has no visible rust and the body is factory line straight. This vehicle has all the original emblems, paint color, radio, speakers, seats, carpet, headliner, etc. The engine is a rebuilt 283, power glide (automatic transmission) that is considered indestructible by vehicle enthusiasts. The 283s are very reliable, but you will not be able to race anyone, it is strictly a cruiser engine. This vehicle is definitely a head turner and it will have its 50th anniversary next year, which ensures the value will increase considerably. I will not waste your time quoting the book value because anyone that is looking at this particular vehicle already knows the "Black Book" price. If you are a novice I highly suggest doing research on this particular vehicle (online book values or even your local bank should be able to tell you) and I recommend that you conduct an inspection at a trusted, third party service center. Anytime I have bought a vehicle I have had it professionally inspected, so I will not be offended if you do the same. I am the third owner of this vehicle (I have a clear title) and purchased it from my uncle's friend who kept it in a climate-controlled garage. This vehicle never sees the rain, it is constantly garaged (except for car shows), and is detailed with DRI-clean (a waterless method of cleaning). The engine was pulled and it was repainted 10 years ago. This vehicle is absolutely amazing and if you are a serious buyer I can supply any pictures that you need. I will answer any questions and listen to any reasonable offers. All this being said, I do not need to sell this vehicle, but my understanding wife has joined me in parking our work vehicles outside all year long. It is time to have a heated garage space for our everyday drivers again. I can only promise that whoever wins this auction will not be disappointed because this is the closest you are going to get to buying it off the assembly line.
