That is true, however it doesn't make the EPL a 'stronger' league. For example Bilbao thrashed Manchester United last season. Atletico Madrid recently thrashed Chelsea. It annoys me when people say 'ohhhh la liga is crap because there are only 2 good teams.' Absolute rubbish that is, it's just because Barcelona and Real Madrid are SO much stronger than the others. Not because the other teams are bad, but because the top two are SO strong, unlike the prem.

It's cause the EPL is so much more balanced. The winners aren't always a sure Barca/Madrid. You have Arsenal, City, United, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. as candidates to win the league. There's more variety to it than La Liga where basically the other "popular" teams such as Bilbao, Atletico, Valencia, as good as they are, have no hope of winning the league because all the skill's in Barca and Madrid. The skill in the EPL is more evenly distributed, so yeah it's more fun to watch.
