I dont get how apocalypse now is rated the best Vietnam movie, it's not so much about the war as it about Brando loosing his mind, surely platoon or full metal jacket are better because they more directly about the war?

Shit war movies kill, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, The Deer Hunter, Platoon, and now Born on the fourth of july, I have yet to see this War Film but if Platoon by the Great Oliver stone proves anything is that Brave Film Genuis can sure create a gem of a Film,
