Climbing a steep ATV trail. Found hidden rock in the bushes . Hard to drive a film at same time.
353 Detroit in a stock 64 Chevy 4x4. It don't look steep in the video but it is near the rock at top.

  • it was not even wound up yet

  • so what part of the country are you from motel

  • Phnom Penh Cambodia. And work In North America.

  • I was just wondering if you had a emergency air shutoff or something on this? If it ever ran off what would you do?

  • no shut off for the blower. If it run away time for a new motor. I would try to put in gear and stall it but I think it would just bust the drive shaft.

  • You got to make some more videos of this truck. This brings back many memories of our old 1959 Seagrave K-cab pump. The high RPM's sound like it did when it was pumping up around its rated capacity. That 6V-53T would SCREAM!!!

  • LOL. I though i would find a segrave fan comment. Yes this is a SCREAMER!!!

  • @MotelCambodia or kick back and run in reverse but it shouldnt run off on you unless the rack sticks on it

  • thats totally kuul, what does it have for a tranny

  • Beautiful!

I really want a 353 in my old Chevy Pick up from 1975

  • christ its a screamer

  • Like you seagravefan I am a real fan of the 53's. If memory serves, the three cylinder had even spacing on the crank journals of 120 degree's. This is what gives the 353 and the6V53's such a smooth sound when wound out. The 4 cyl. is not as smooth (in my opinion) but seems a much quicker engine to rev. You would think with one more cyl. it would be a smoother engine. I've much experiance with both the 3 and the 4, not as much with the 6V53, although I have been around a few. 8V53 would be fun.
