  • That's a super update because we can hear the excitement, enthusiasm and satisfaction in your voice. Two questions please.

What type of cabbage did you show first at 0.32?

When did you plant your garlic? (I put mine in Feb and they look like yours)

Also, I am getting a huge amount of peas (Early Onward) this year.

Also, also, you seem surprised at your success - good preparation gets good results and you prepared well so you deserve all this.

    Best Wishes, Brendan.

  • @baconsoda Hi,The green cabbage are "Minocole" and are really good as they form a big head and don't split even when they're ready.

I plant my garlic pretty late around the end of March because it's too wet and cold to do it any earlier.

Peas are Hurst Greenshaft,I think they're a great variety with a good 10+ peas in each pod.

    Cheers,Dan.

  • Superb allotment. I hope my new tunnel is as productive as yours.

  • @allotmentdiary Thanks Dan. I grow Hispi F1 and Greyhound but I want another and those Minocole look great. I have a pack of Hurst Greenshaft in the shed that I had no space for so I'll be sure to plant them next year.

    Best Wishes, Brendan.
