Israel defends itself

The Gaza Strip currently administered by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement). Hamas lost an election, but took control by force. Egypt and Israel have or had a blockade of the Gaza to insure no weapons passed through their borders to Hamas. Hamas has been responsible for launching thousands of rockets indiscriminately into Israel at times landing in school yards and parks, murdering civilians.

The whole world knew Israel maintained a naval blockade of Gaza to block to flow of weapons to Hamas. Knowing this a flotilla made up of international activist, and dopes launched six boats with supplies for Gaza announcing their intention to sail through the Israeli blockade.

This flotilla leaving Turkey, was sponsored, organized by a group called "The Foundation for Human Rights and Humanitarian Relief" (better know as "IHH"). This group was formed in the mid 1990's to help Muslims in the war torn region of Bosnia in Europe.

Since then they have had links to al-Qaeda. Also the "millennium bomber," the dope who was caught in 1999 at the U.S. Canadian border with a vehicle loaded with bombs. His intention was to cause an explosion at Los Angeles Airport on New Years Eve. He was sponsored by the IHH.

The flotilla was intercepted by the IDF (Israel Defense Force) in the Mediterranean. Five of the six boats no problem when occupied by the IDF. The sixth boat the IDF was met by violent activist / terrorist determine to create a violent encounter to the delight of the world media. This resulted in the death of 10 activists and critically wounding of IDF forces.

Rather odd how this issued within 48 hours made its way to the U.N. Security Council. While the murdering of 47 South Korean sailors by the commies in North Korea has not made it to the U.N. Security Council. North Korea's ally the commies in China managed to block any discussion in the U.N. Security Council. While the U.S., ally to Israel made no such similar effort.

@3choBlaster Until recently Israel forbade the import of Coca Cola (Which happens to have a Turkish CEO, which is totally irrelevant lol). What was Hamas planning? Were they going to attack the IDF with cola and mentos? Israel is a country in which it is forbidden for a Jewish women to marry a non Jew for gods sake ...

From a highly Secular Turk, whose country has been a NATO member from the start. We just want the Israeli's and Palestinians to get along ... be friends, have two states.

Tony, You do realize the fact that there was a Holocaust survivor on the Mavi Marmara right ... ? You're accusations on IHH are baseless, NATO officials checked the ship and found only humanitarian aid. Turkey which is a NATO nation like you know also checked the ship to be sure. Again no weapons etc. Israel checked the ships and guess what? They found AID. But they claimed the "concrete" which was meant to rebuild the UN school Israel bombed, would "maybe" be used by Hamas to build bunkers.

What he has done befor his deeds does not matter, he was a member of the PLO when he murdered the family, Hezbolla did not exist and Nasralla was a 19 year old vegetable dealer:)

That he later became intrested of Hezbolla is a different matter, the questien was " Can you prove with sources that Iran and Hezbollah acted as terrorists in the state of Israel."

@MrCastodian - Samir Kuntar is a terrorirst of Hezbollah. He decleared that he is part of Hezbollah, met with Nasrallah (leader of Hezbollah) and was adoopted by Hezbollah completely. It's true that he started his terrorist operation in another terror organization, because Hezbollah did not exist back then - but now he's part of Hezbollah.

In most countries he would be executed for his murders. But Israel is a merciful country, humanitarian country, and he was VERY lucky.

If Samir Kuntar is a proof that Hezbollah is a terrorist, then should Kafr Qasim in 1956 as a proof that Israel are terrorists?

Or maybe Haganah and unit 101 is proof about Israels terrorist crimes?

And by the way, Hezbollah did not exist when Samir Kuntar carried out his crimes, he was a PLO member.

@MrCastodian - who cares what terror countries consider Hezbollah... We KNOW exactly what they are. "Freedom" has nothing to do with them.. They terrorise everyone - including Lebanese who think different than them. Hezbollah "fighter" Samir Kuntar went to Israel 30 years ago (in 1979) - invaded the border, penatrated to an Israeli city (Naharia), broke (randomaly) to a house, and killed a family, including a 3 years old baby girl, by smashing her head! These are animals, pure and simple.
