Abbey looked out her window at the moving truck pulling into the house across the street. The truck was white and said 'Make-A-Move' written in bold lettering on the side. Abbey, on the small cave in front of her window, sat on one end of it as Tiffany walked over and took a seat on the other side.

"New people, huh?" She said with a hair flip. Her brown eyes were looking out the window too, as men started moving things into the house. Abbey sighed. The house had been for sale for months. She hadn't been in the house since the day her boyfriend and his family moved out of there. She wasn't happy he was gone, and she wasn't happy new people were moving in. "Yea. I miss Chris. Too bad his family had to move away to Michigan. Why would you want to live in the cold?" Brooklin, who was walking out of the bathroom, sat down on Abbey's bed next to Tori who was minding her own business reading the latest Seventeen magazine. "I don't know. The cold is cold. And they get snow there? Eww." Brooklin shoved her hair behind her ears and looked completely disgusted with the snow that she thought about.

Meanwhile, Abbey forgot about the fact that people were moving in across the street, or that her boyfriend was gone. She was pumped to get ready for the last weekend before school. Which meant it was time for her and the girls to take a Saturday to the mall and shop til' they drop! She was headed for her walk-in closet that was built into her zebra print covered room. She opened the glass doors and the lights turned on. The girls were standing behind her, and she started to look through the drawers. Ten minutes later, clothes were spread out all across the closet and Abbey was picking out the perfect outfit. Out from under a pile of clothes, Tori screamed. "I found your skinny jeans!" She said, and held up dark blue jeans. Abbey smiled and pressed her manicured finger over the intercom on the closet wall.

"Rose, may you please come clean up my closet?" Rose was the servant here, in the Schmidt residence. She had wavy brown hair always in a tight braid. Her pearly whites makes her mouth look like a ghost for her Hispanic skin. She looked a lot like Tiffany. She could have a better job, but she wants to pay off her college loans so she could be a lawyer. Still in school, Rose was young but she LOVED to clean.
Rose responded with a simple "Yes" and Abbey made her way to the bathroom to get dressed. After a few gasps for how great she looked, the girls walked down the grand staircase into the front room where Mrs. Schmidt was sitting on the couch with her glasses on the tip of her nose, going over some community plans.

"Mom, we're going to the mall, 'ight?" Her curled hair that fell by her lower back was pushed into the front as the girls slid on all their shows. She slid on her light brown Uggs as her mom registered what she said.

"Sweetpea, no. We have to go across the street to introduce ourselves to the new neighbors." Her mom took off her glasses, and looked back at the them. "Hello, Girls."

They all waved and Abbey stomped her foot. "But, mom! Hello? It's Saturday! Our shopping day!"

"I'm sorry, Abbey. It's just...Their new neighbors. I'll drive you to the mall tomorrow." Mrs. Schmidt nodded and turned back to her papers.

Abbey sighed and looked out the thin, white curtains in the front room. She saw kids running around in the front yard, and a girl with dark brown hair holding a cardboard box. She couldn't read what it said, but it seemed to be written neatly. With a shrug, she turned back to the girls. "Okay, are you ready? What do we take, Mom?"

Her mom slid the glasses off her tan face and skipped to the kitchen. She suddenly returned with a plate of muffins. "This is it. Be nice and put a smile on your face." Abbey took the plate and then Mrs. Schmidt turned to the girls. "You girls be really nice. We don't want to scare them away." As she started to go back to the couch, she twisted her torso back around. "Oh, and remember not to spill any secrets."

Tiffany, Tori and Brooklin all looked at Abbey with looks on their faces, clearly saying 'What does she know?!?" but Abbey shrugged it off, put on a smile and walked out the front door.
