Yasuhiro Konishi

Yasuhiro Konishi sent this training film to Wally Szlagowski, Father of Karate in Australia, in the early 1960's. He handed the film down to his student Rob Dobson and in turn he handed it on to his principle student, Kym Reid of Jinen Karate Jitsu

i am a shindo jinen-ryu karateka from the ryobu kai school from venezuela, and i feel very honored to see the founder of my karate style, I learned a lot during these 11 years, and today I am black belt, and keep learning every day...RIP Master Yasuhiro Konishi, the master of masters.

I was taught for several years as a child in Ryobu Kai Karate in NZ. Great school I practice what I remember everyday.
