Just wanted to ask about the ibanez flanger fl9. In you opinion how does it react with distortion / overdrive pedals?
I read somewhere it doesnt work as well as with some of the modern flangers out there.. any truth in this?
Im considering buying one soon coz i love that analog 80's flanger sound it gives but would appreciate your opinion.

LOL stupid sexy flangers. I see what you did there.

Great video!!!! Thanks man. You must be a teacher with such a good visual explanation;) Do you know the exact settings the 4 knobs would be for that EVH preset button? I have a grey MXR 117R.

@jbisti yeah, me too!

Thank you very, very much ! I'm using the EVH and now I will be able to be "friend" with it ;-)
what about depth? and great video by the way

@naruto0f0olympus Thanks, dude. Depth is the same as Width. It's how far the effected signal gets pushed back and forth. A higher depth/width setting will have a greater difference between the two signals and a more dramatic effect.

@mistersnaredrum Thanks! I really wish space (and money) weren't an option, because I could really use that EVH-117 for a couple of songs right now.

@thetruemrblack Thanks! I always find it interesting to see how effects and techniques were pulled off back before computers and sampling technology.
