Awful video for two reasons. Kovalchuk, Gaborik, Semin, Ovechkin, Heatley, Parise, Cammalleri and Carter are all better snipers. And Phil Kessel is the furthest thing from a franchise player. This is coming from a huge fan of PK81.

@blackjackwilliams The reason I made this video is to give credit to a leaf player with an unreal talent. Its just an opinion. Kessel has shown multiple times he has an amazing wrist shot . Sure, all those players get more hype and what not, what I am trying to say is that Kessel has great hands and a quick release giving him a killer shot. I admit, he might not be a franchise player, but he is what the Leafs got for top offensive player and the others will hopefully follow key.

Screw what people say about burke making a stupid trade for this guy.. this guy has an amazing shot and hall or seguin are good players but kessel is better imo... all kessel needs to do is work on his defensive game a bit and he'll be an even better player

@blackjackwilliams out of all the guys u named the only comparable snipers are ovechkin, parise and kovalchuk. Majority of their goals come from strong team set ups or them dangling the whole team. Sniper is something completely different, someone who can quickly shoot the puck precisely.

@blackjackwilliams Heatley is such a prick that he'll ONLY play with good players.. like Thortnon, Marleau, Pavelski, Alfredson, Spezza.. he screwed over Edmonton to prove this. Cammaleri is an unreal player, especially in the playoffs, but in terms of a better sniper, i don't believe thats fair to say.. Carter is good yes, he SHOULD be a leaf.. but Phillys team is unreal.. well we'll see this year. And Ovechkin.. lets see if he goes back to his old self, or stays as the "Crosbyish" he just was.

@blackjackwilliams i 100% disagree with your statement. Sorry. But Kovalchuk is the most inconsistant player in the league.. I mean I know Kessel has his dry spells, but Kovalchuk can also play with Parise and Zajac, he has no reason to be inconsistant. Gaborik has more speed than anything, nowhere near the release Kessel has. Semin is a shadow in the playoffs.. he midaswell golf every year before the playoffs, i admit in the season hes dynamite but thats not always enough. Heatley... hahahaahah

@blackjackwilliams Are you a Canadien fan? Cammalleri? LOL he can only score from one point on the ice and has an actual real line to play with and doesnt have as many goals as kessel has and kessel has been struggling. Kovalchuk? Not as fast as kessel and kessel has a better release and Kessel has more goals and points. Gaborik? He used to be good but not as much this season. Semin is good because of Backstrom and Ovie, Carter? lol. Heatly? no. Parise? no. Ovie is more of a power forward.
