Thank you for your constructive criticism. While I appriciate your feedback, I am not a professional and therefor the sound is what it is. I have seen many videos on YouTube that are much worse, yet I've never I would not post anything disparaging. I accept their desire to share and appriciate their efforts. As I am a big Jackie Evancho fan, I wanted to share a part of my experience with others. Hope your day goes well.

We drove 2 1/2 hours to attend the concert last night and her performance was incredible. This young lady was able to reduce this old man to tears. I have rarely ever felt such emotion from any music, let alone from an 11 year old. Please, please keep your head Jackie and don't self destruct like so many other young artists. Pop singers are a dime a dozen, the pure quality of her voice, is truly special. I can only imagine what we will hear from you in the years to come.

Last night I had the distinct privilege to play violin in the orchestra that accompanied the incredibly talented 11-year-old Jackie Evancho at the Fantasy Springs Casino, in Indio. Jackie is an amazing artist to hear and behold, displaying such a beautiful pure voice with a wonderful depth and emotion as she sings. I'm the second person just to the right of the harp, on the outside; John Mario Di Costanzo from NYC conducted. :-)

@Gregorius24 It's fun to get a perspective from an orchestra player. Was this a first time for Jackie and the conductor or had they worked together before? How much rehearsal time was needed? Did she take the orchestra by surprise or did they know her already?

There could be some improvements on the video..it's too far away...even tho' the screen above is close...it sounds twangy from a distance...close up she is so beautiful...this video does not do her justice when you see her perform close up...I see a big improvement from when she was a small girl. She has learned how to move her arms naturally to emphasize her singing...love ya jackie..your my angel..and many will see that...you are such a sweetie'

@VicinitasCorp Nessun Dorma (None Shall Sleep) doesn't require a choir. In fact, Nessun Dorma is a staple of solo recitals of tenor singers. It was usually Pavarotti's recital encore.

What I enjoy is how she can sing these moving operatic classics, and then once the song is finished to perfection. The little girl's personality comes out. I wish she would have performed Nission Dorma, however I realize she needs a back-up choir.
