That scene was like one of the few points in which Moriarty allowed his seemingly suave and sophisticated front to slip up and reveal what a sadistic, demented psychopath he truly was inside.

I loved this scene in the film. I was always wondering what the song was that Jared Harris was doing as professor Moriarty.

So haunting! This song is a perfect fit for the scene, too. It has an eerie, dark, Germanic feel to it, and the words talk about a fish being chased by a fisher who uses tricks in cold blood to kill it. In the end, the fish is finally "hooked", and for those who have seen the film, you'll get the parallel there!
