Info: A 2008 science fiction film, a remake of the 1951 film of the same name. Directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu, the film updates Cold War themes like nuclear warfare to more contemporary ones, such as "humans vs. nature" and humanity's generally violent nature towards itself. It will be released in conventional theaters and IMAX screens on December 12, 2008.

  • @WJValente Any movie from Hollywood aims to mind-program the population so there's no surprise here still they are fun and have some interesting pointers historical and political that writers and producers manage to slip to the general audience capable and willing to perceive them.
