"We consider this criminal and terrorist aggression. We put the responsibility on the American government," he told reporters following talks with UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband.

He added: "All of them [the victims] are civilians, Syrian, unarmed and they are on the Syrian territories.

"Killing civilians in international law means a terrorist aggression."

Asked if Syria would use force if a similar operation was mounted, he said: "As long as you are saying if, I tell you, if they do it again, we will defend our terrorities."

Referring to the US presidential election, he said: "We hope the coming administration will learn the mistakes of this administration." BBC.com

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) -- U.S. military helicopters attacked an area along Syria's border with Iraq Sunday, killing eight people, the Syrian government said.

The Syrian report comes just days after the commander of U.S. forces in western Iraq told reporters that American troops were redoubling efforts to secure the Syrian border, which he said was an "uncontrolled" gateway for fighters entering Iraq.

A government statement carried by the official Syrian Arab News Agency said Sunday's attack was on the Sukkariyeh Farm near the town of Abu Kamal, five miles inside the Syrian border. Four helicopters attacked a civilian building under construction, firing on the workers inside, shortly before sundown, the statement said.

The U.S. military in Baghdad did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

  • You are totally right, fuck George Bush, he's a stupid ass and a war criminal. I like Obama more.

  • Typical, these murdering american terrorists seem to think they can do what they like, they murder innocent men & little children & this american prick on the video try,s to blame it on the IRAQI,S. the u.s is the most hated country on the planet, but it,s not there fault,at least that,s what they tell everyone, what a shower of two faced, self centered wankers these americans are.

  • The Christian Reich types somehow never bother to tell you that "military affairs expert" Robert Maginnis was a 20 year careerist/ West Point ring-knocker who's never seen a day of combat in his life. Or that he's a Defense Department contractor who has a vested pecuniary interest in increasing military spending. Hence the fear mongering.
