Little known fact: "My Melancholy Baby" was introduced by William Frawley who played Fred mertz on "I Love Lucy". He is who made it the popular song it became!

OK I figured it out... this is Steamboat Rag by Ernie Burnett, from 1914. Burnett was a pianist who also went by the nickname "the caviar kid", and is perhaps best known for his 1911 song "Melancholy" (words by George A. Norton), which was later renamed "My Melancholy Baby" and is still played often today.
