The 06 bikes make more HP with air box mod, air filter, PC3 and a micron serpant unresricted exhaust UK bikes can exceed 160 hp at the rear wheel. If you remove the rev limiter they will rev to 14000 (not recomended) giving just shy of 170 hp.
To improve the FZ1 do three things before any engine mods 16 tooth front sprocket. jack up kit. A second hand set of 04-on R1 forks (fully adustable) and brakes (radial) (see ebay).

@fatopinl Exactly. Standard Fz1 Fazer is about 135-139 hp at rear wheel ( yes, different Fz1 fazer shows different numbers). After Airbox mod, gutted header cat and a slip on = 143 RWHP without PC3 and the bikes runs great.

@ the passport x-50 detects laser. the screamer that plugs into it makes you able to hear it at mach 1.

one thing... the yamaha fazer 2008-2009 has 150 HP =)

That's 150 hp measured at the crankshaft. The engine is simular to mine. The numbers i mention in the clip are measured at the rearwheel. In that case my crankshaft HP is much higher. ( about 10-15%)
