Don't pull it so tight

My airline keeps getting kinked when I run it up the side. How do you fix this?

The stock intake is meant to have a recirculating effect, in that it sucks bubbly pre-skimmate into the venturi when the bubbles get up to the neck of the skimmer where the intake is.
Problem is it's so noisy... and it's really difficult to adjust the stock screw in the back of a BC29... anyway good job and I'll probably be trying this to see if it helps.
