In 1945, 10000 plus refugees boarded the MS Wilhelm Gustloff as Nazi Germany was crumbling. This cruise ship then set sail trying to get her cargo of humanity to safety but was ambushed and sunk by a Soivet Submarine. Sinking rapidly the ship, intended only for 2000 people took over 9000 with her to the bottom of the Baltic. This is dedicated to the memory of this almost forgotten horrorible night.
