@Aiemu2006 I am not sure if this gets his point at all. He tries to explain what in his opinion is the problem of the continent in a short picture. But (and I am German - so I had quite a hard time trying to understand what he was saying - but I did it) he shows a problem of understanding (by two means). And this is not necessarily meant to be something special only for Africa. In fact my own land has had that problem for quite a long time. And Ustinov had a very deep love for people at all.

I think you are confusing Peter Ustinov with Alexander Pushkin, the 19th century Russian poet. Ustinov was part Russian, part Italian and part French and a British citizen

I never knew there were so many assholes in the world until I read these comments. Ustinov was a giant. A highly educated man who, I am sure would never insult or decry any person, culture or race.

How can u make that logical argument from him simply talking about his own personal experience. I am from the Caribbean and I have experiences similiar to his, it doesn't mean that I am ignorant to things Caribbean.

Well Ustinov himself is part African. His Greatgrandmother (or maye Grandmother) was ethiopian royalty.
