Joseph Wilson made his first TV appearance on Countdown since filing the lawsuit. He talks to Keith Olbermann about Novak. the administration and the reason why they decided to file the lawsuit. He goes after Libby's excuse that they just wanted to get the facts out. He highlights Novak's memory loss again and tells us that he had talked to Novak and Robert misspoke to him about his CIA source.

FACT: The CIA filed a "crime report" with the Department of Justice shortly after Novak's column, stating that an undercover agent's identity had been blown. Larry Johnson, a former CIA officer, said "All of my classmates were undercover." Fitzgerald found that Plame had indeed done "covert work overseas" on counterproliferation matters in the past five years, and the CIA "was making specific efforts to conceal" her identity.
