HEATH LEDGER Extended Memoriam @ SAG Awards Fan Tribute V.01

The Screen Actors Guild salute to 40 actors who passed away in the last year, including twenty-something's Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger.

Following the SAG salute is a 2 minute slideshow (at the 3:50 mark) of Heath Ledger from his early years as a teenager arriving in Hollywood then gradually building to his most recent on the set of Batman 'The Dark Knight' (in theatres: July 18, 2008).

Ledger's montage is an extension of the original 10 seconds in the guild's presentation. Due to time constraints, SAG had to keep it short and sweet.

In the making of this fan tribute, I wanted to ensure a seamless flow of which I can embed one of my favorite movie soundtracks.

Hats off to TNT/TBS, The Screen Actors Guild, the photographers and all of the fans sending condolences to the Ledger family in their time of mourning. It is unimaginable to lose someone who had a flourishing and celebrated career at the age of 28.

After preparations in New York, Heath's body was flown to Los Angeles where the Ledger family waited to take Heath back home to Australia. We lend our fond farewell as private burial services will be held on Saturday, Feb 9th (AU) in his hometown of Perth.

A great talent. A great shame he is no longer here. I can only imagine how his career would have further soared after The Dark Knight. Such a great character actor. R.I.P. Mr Heath Ledger.

That was so nice. Many of these wonderful people have given me such fond memories...but it really breaks my heart to know I will never see any new movies with Heath in them. I fell madly in love with him in "A knights Tale" i have lost count of the number of times I have watched it. :) So cute! and funny. I am really grateful for having the ability to watch him in all his movies and more for the rest of my life along with so many of the amazing people that entertain us.  we are so lucky.
