A pair of spoonbills viewed from the East (Beach) Hide at RSPB Minsmere. I've viewed spoonbills on several occasions at Minsmere, Havergate Island, Snettisham and Titchwell and my experience has been that they don't do much - spending most of their time with their bill tucked under their wing, but these two were really animated for a change! The racket in the foreground is of course the nesting Black-Headed Gulls all around! Took this handheld with my new Fuji HS10 camera on the 720p HD video setting at full (30x 720mm) zoom. A bit shaky and maybe not quite as level as it could be, but hey it was my first go!
