@Arkayem I completely disagree. The solos in songs like Lines In The Sand, Repentance and The Best of Times show that John is quite possibly the most well-rounded guitarist in the music industry today. Mikael doesn't have anything that impressive guitar-wise. He is a brilliant singer and songwriter, though. Much better than John.
Just my opinion.

@DeadandDECAYED99 I'm not a great fan of Nirvana or Foo Fighters, I'm a metal fan, mostly progressive music generally, Opeth, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree but man this is really free. Okay, I don't know the whole story behind Grohl but he did some bad ass stuff, like not kicking my cousin off the stage when he jumped on it in Montreal cause he wanted to meet the guy and second, he fucking did a fan garage tour with the Foo Fighters, just saying.

@EtherealSunrise honestly i cant even decide between the two. petrucci is my favorite guitar player personally (even compared to vai, satch, martone, srv, etc).... but akerfeldt is a G!
