Professional mechanic here. The ticking noise from the right side bank is a burned exhaust valve. Time for a set of fresh heads, and an opportunity to upgrade to 2.02" valves. Always nice to hear an unrestricted exhaust though.

@5annent there was no 1983 corvette the workers at the plant went on strike they ended the corvette stingray era in 82' and started then started the 4th gen in 84'

theres an old corvette stingray like 2 miles from my house. it hasnt moved in years.i want to ask them how much they want for it. it has some serious paint issues and probably doesnt have good interior. wish me luck guys =)
