No. It's a 'book' musical. It was a showcase for the recently Tony awarded Joel Grey who played George M. Cohan. He won a couple of years b4 in "Cabaret". This number is a gem!

I have this VHS, I bought it just for Gwen, some great dancing and dancers, also check out the American Dance Machine on Showstoppers which was hosted by Tom Bosley, there are a few clips on YouTube.

Is there anyone who knows about the current situation of American Dance Machine?
I have worked with them in Tokyo 27 years ago as a sub stage manager. The tour manager was Ms. Patricia Fuji.
I would be pleased if there is some infomation about them!
