A Lesson from History

This a lesson that people from the 1930's should have learned. But this sad chapter in human history is something that cannot be repeated. The Holocaust should never have happened. People should have stood up to Hitler, but instead did nothing. I don't know if something similar will happen in the future, but if it does, we must not be afraid to stand up against oppression and fear. When thing become difficult and when the waves of oppression come over us, we must have the courage to make a difference and stand up for the right cause. This video is to make people aware of what may happen if we fail to stand.

The music is from the track "Anakin's Betrayal" from the "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack". But the song itself brings a deep and emotional tone and it gave me a deep and stirring feeling, so that is why I put it in here.

I hope that you will get something out of this; if not then it is my fault.

Hitler was a failure at his passion of painting. So for him the next logical step was to join a seretive form of government, rise to the top of the ranks, take over and start killing Jews. He was mentally ill. I would say most if not all dictators are. The key is to rise up as a unified whole, even if our government doesn't agree (as we are, after all, above the government) and squash the growing tiranny in its infantile stages.

It's astonishing how the people of Europe can chastise Americans for killing a handful of people in Iraq and yet they dismiss their own history, the Germans creating two world wars and their mission to massacre over 6 million Jews. We've had 8 years of hell under George Bush, and they've had over 60 years to live with their guilt.
