In lesson 3 i will show you how to beat mix with only your headphones. All you need to do is have the right audio through the right headphone and the left through the left.

  • Hi J

One p[rob with this Ive just got a DJM 400 and it dont have L and R wich is a bit odd any tips

  • hi , take the left rac out of the right dk and the right out of the lef deck, now mix without head phones

    j

  • for house I've found that listening to the beat through the headphones equally has helped immensly throughout my djing. I see lots of DJs do the "touch/drag" with their fingers and I always shake my head. Doing this will result in unequal beat measures later on. For DnB I find it easier to acomplish perfect beat matching doing it your way. Perhaps because I've spun house far longer than DnB? anyhow, I like that you are breaking it down for those that dont know. Hit em with knowledge.

  • Thanks for that , i feel knowlage is for shairing. peace bro! johnathan

  • Tught me quite a lot!

  • 5:52... well that's kinda rude... :P

  • hi....J

my mixer doesnt have the 'balance' controll..........what shall i do?

  • When DJing with headphones do you always hear the music in the headphones first? how? how do you cue music into the head phones and not the PA?

  • When matching the tunes I do a combination ofadjusting the pitch and manually touching the platter at the same time to get the two tunes in time. I notice you slowed the pitch and then brought it back where was somewhere near where it'd been before. I only ask because some people do ask dj's why they're touching the platter. it's just the way I find you get the absolute minimum amount of 'clang' so it's barely noticeable.

Anyway, keep up the cool vids - your enthusiam is legendary!

  • @Darran1974 hy stupid, for 300e you could by behringer ddm4000 and have separeted channels.. fuck stupid pioneer
