Oh, hey look, a quasi-hindu who dodged the question
-
@Tigranis well said.
-
I lold
-
"How can we tell reality from fiction?"
"I'm glad you asked that. I'm praying that one day science and magic will be the same thing! Does that answer your question?"
-
To be fair, the direction that he suggests certainly is a tendency within modern science, so it's not complete nonsense. Although his answer certainly does entail a total abdication from his personal responsibility, which is rather depressing but not surprising.
-
I didn't quite follow the nonsense. Did he actually mention how to discern truth from desired fiction?
-
Does he do the voice for the head Lemur in "Penguins of Madagascar"?
-
Phenomenal question, horrific answer.
-
He's just repeating Vedic mysticism, that God, the Brahman, is all. Fuck him.
-
Deepak is confusing the meanings of subjective/objective (used for opinion based or factual statements) with the grammatical definitions of subject and object (observer and observed).
Deepak should marry Oprah. Then she'd be Oprah Chopra.

So basically he's saying 'One day I hope science will somehow magically change and make all be BS I'm stringing together correct. In the meantime, here's some double-speak to keep the rubes happy.'
Even just slightly better science education would put bullshit artists like this out of business. :/
