I saw this movie a few days ago and it was great, very witty and clever and Robert Downey Jr was perfect as Sherlock Holmes it's definetly somewhere on my top ten movies of 2009, I still need to see a few more movies from 2009, such as District 9, Inglorious Bastards, Zombieland, The hurt locker and Star Trek.

Hmm...the Irene Adler scenes in the trailer were not in the film.
My guess is, it was an alternate explanation for why he got knocked out, and woke up naked with the pillow.

"Get that out of my face."
"It's not in your face it's in my hand."
"Well get what's in your hand out of my face."
LMAO this movie was so witty and clever. RDJ<3
@1kissbee you're actually quite wrong, most of the film is very similar to the books, and robert downey jr portrays a very accurate representation of sherlock holmes. have you read the holmes story "A scandal in bohemia"? read it and watch the film and you will see the similarities. but i agree the over hyped action sequences are obviously not like that in the books. apart from that it is very similar.
