MTV didn't forget about the guys.  The Man of the Year is revealed - keep watching!
 
Hi guys, Dana Ward here.  Welcome back to Clevver TV, your hookup for everything entertainment.  And in today's show, we're counting down the guys in pop culture that MTV named as the men of the year.  The music tv channel chose to NOT make it another Top 10 list, so we're starting at number-9 with Eminem.  He may have disappeared for a bit, but this dude returned to the music industry in a big way during 09 and that's why he's on the list.  The number-8 winner doesn't go quite as far back at Slim, but Drake definitely reached some super success this year.  The 7-spot may not have been lucky for the man who got this position, simply because Kanye West got on the list because of his infamous VMA stage crash.  Without even needing an explanation, Robert Pattinson is next, unless you've been living under a rock.  Two words: Twilight Saga.  Lil Wayne with his serious stumbles and success side, he got 5.  The number-4 position goes to another Twi-guy, and this round, the "other team" won.  MTV selected Taylor Lautner for his bigger role - and bod - in New Moon and in the public eye.  The 3-spot for Man of the Year goes to Adam Lambert for breaking out of the American Idol mold and for causing a whisper or two for his personalized performances.  With his 11th album and the first being a number-1 single, the next guy didn't get number-1.  Jay-Z earned the runner-up position.  He'd continued to dominate in his business deals - nuff said.  And according to MTV, the Man of the Year is... oh come on, who do you think it is?  Tweet us your opinion @clevvertv!  I'm Dana Ward - thanks for watching!!
