Good thing it did! One has to realise, even if a game itself sucks, if you put either enough sex or gore in it, people WILL buy it.
Now, if you put all this gore into an amazing game, you're in for a money-bath. I mean, you (normally) don't get to rip off people's head in real life, so at least in games you can feel the satisfaction.
Yes, it's sick, everyone knows that.. but hey, it's bloody fun too!

Geez, I'm playing the demo and I think it was horrific when I stab a guy in the shoulder with my right claw then rip his head of with the other, (scaring the shit out of the other guy by making a wookie battle-cry into the mike at the same time) but then I see this video with the pred fingering around with the overly sizable amount of spinal cord and think, SWEET!
P.S.
It is f***ing scary when your walking as a marine then you suddenly look down to see your spin come out of your gut.

god i love this game, when you pick them up is there any particular button you have to press to do this or is it just pot luck which kill you perform because sometimes you stab them in the face then rip their head off =P
