It's a nice performance... but you're talking about Popper's dance of the elves. It's a lot of fun to play, and however good you are you can always make it hard again by upping the tempo just. a. little. bit. more. The piece isn't really supposed to be precise, it's supposed to push even the best cellists to the brink of psychotic madness and glee.
Hence the name.

Dang, Ken... could you make this look any easier?

An astoundingly fluid and neutral rendition. Ken and Andrea let the piece interpret itself, eschewing any vanity or pretense. Perfect performance for tribute to an esteemed colleague. In honesty, I do get an image of elvish cavalry on errantry from this, which is both unexpected and delightful, for that is also a kind of dance and a tribute to teaching/mentoring/partnering as well. You gave this piece hooves/wings, so thank you so much for sharing your vision with us. Tears of joy!
really enjoyed this, perfect speed. when people play it faster than this it sounds ugly, in most cases one can`t hear any note just pure noise. this version is great, well done Ken!!!!
