Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito shook his head no, and mouthed our "not true," while President barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court for their recent decision permitting lobbyists and corporations to exert more influence on elections.
The President was absolutely correct, and Alito was lying. Time to apoligize to the President, Samuel Alito. And apologize to Russ Feingold and Alan Grayson too.
i love how people make a big f'ing deal about this ok he has the right to do that, what has this country come to, where obama can sit down during the pledge or make fun of retards, but when someone simply shakes their head at him its all of a sudden a bad thing
When Obama threatened separation of powers in actions (Congress) as a response to overturn the ruling, the result is government acting to limit, reduce, or ban the essence and reason for free speech - dissent. The First Amendment bans government from making any law abridging it. It doesn't say so and so gets it and so and so does not. Free speech is a fundamental principle that is explicitly untouchable by government laws, president threats, and Congressional legislation. It's pretty clear.
I'd say the Constitution you cite contradicts your argument.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Understand that yet? It says no law abridging the freedom of speech. No mention of person. It's a ban on government limiting free speech and assembly.

obama is right, and this ruling will lead to a (more) corrupt goverment with each election cycle-

So a corporation should not be able to look out for its own interests?

No, you are confused. The corporations do not vote. People vote.
