  • I feel there's a lot more information to look at here then just people given fish oil vs. people given a placebo. Diet is extremely important and varies greatly from one person to the next. Were all people involved in this experiment following the same diet? Following the same exercise routines? Smokers or non-smokers? Have there been trials done that have shown that supplementing with parent omega 6 and parent omega 3 reduce cardiovascular events, cancers, or strokes?

  • bottom line is fish oil is supposed to prevent heart attacks and cardiovascular disease, and in controlled experiments (like Harvard Medical did back in 1995) it fails. You need to know that. With the proper use of statistics, variations in diet among controls and testing groups are allowed for. Read the book, The Hidden Story of Cancer so you can learn all about experiments that conclusively show reduction of cancer and cardiovascular disease and the science why these results occur.   • A recent research paper (2009) used microarrays to study fish oils pathways. They found that anti-inflammatory pathways were activated. So yes, modern technology is starting to show that these oils are beneficial.

    Prof Peskin is pushing parent essential oils LA and LNA and not the derivatives EPA and DHA (omega 3). Hence the reason he is saying the derivatives are dangerous.

  • Based on physiology and biochemistry, there is no stronger anti-inflammatory than PGE1, which is made from parent omega-6. I follow the science of physiology wherever it may lead. Pharmacological overdosing of derivatives is extremely harmful, period.

  • how about eating oily fish? Many tribes men eat fish and eskimos but do not get diabettes etc.

  • Eating fish is far different from consuming highly concentrated fish oil supplements.

  • WOW! ok so i tried professornutrition's products and they actually do work! They are better than fish oil(which will give you cancer and kill you). I talked to serveral respected doctors and they all said fish oil is very good for you but after watching this video I now know they are lieing and backed by fish oil companies who pay doctors to lie to people. Don;t beleive your doctor! professornutrition has already done the research for all of us. Go to his website and by his products today!

  • Are there any fish oil supplements then you would reccomend? I was taking "The Garden of Life" Cod liver oil, do you think that one is beneficuary for the body???

  • Thank you for bringing this information forward. I listened to you on One Radio Network and actually this is the first time I had heard of the negatives associated with Fish Omega 3's. I am forever researching nutrition, wellness, immune functions and want to make my own educated choices based on everything I have researched. I am returning back to your website to read it over more closely.  It takes guts to bring to light adverse information. Thanks.
