  • camaros are for people who never went to college and will never be able to afford a quality built proper sports car. Whe you see a young guy in a 370z, just keep in mind that its his first car before later in life he steps up to even better and faster (more expensive cars) but you will still be glancing though the autotrader for camaros and mustangs because you simply will never be able to afford anything nicer.

  • i still think my 240z is sexier but these are pretty fly too

  • Man! Some haters around here! You can't judge people by the car they drive. Don't you have any friends hanging easy at partner status at work, raking in sixes but drive civic grade cars? I have a few of those. They just prefer practicality. Different strokes. Anyway, I own a BMW 135i and I love it to death, but I think this Z is one hot ride. I wouldn't mind if I had to swap. My only complaint is the interior, while a big improvement over the 350z, hasn't hit adulthood yet.

  • It was an opportunity to lose those awkward door handles but alas..

  • Although, I can picture that in my mind, but that is more of a stereotype, if anything.

But I agree that this new Z is a quality built sports car, that offers a lot for the money.

  • As mentioned, base price for the 370z is around $30K. Buy a fully optioned out model, then that comes to $40K. Lots of ignorance around here... and a whole lot of straightline performance fanboys.

  • By the numbers the LS1 Z28 Camaro should be about even with the new Z in a drag race. It has around 320hp and 345lb-ft of torque stock. The Z has 332hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Both get to 60 in about 4.5-5 seconds, and if the Z is kept above 5k revs it should win the quarter mile as well.

Throw in a turn and the Z is a clear winner. The Camaro has a respectable skidpad rating of 0.87g; however, the Z will break your neck with 0.97g lateral acceleration.

    Nissan 370Z starts at $30k, not $45k.

  • 370's ain't 45k... get one fully loaded for 40k or less... idk why but the pearl white is totally doing it for me on this car, i'm thinkin of ordering one with the persimmon interior, but will it be a girly lookin car :( not with black rims *yum* or twin turbos... but. this color is hot. ahh decisions!

  • well hmm, this kid I know is 18 y/o. Mommy and daddy bought it. If mommy and daddy are buying you cars, then why not get something that has some nuts under the hood. This thing sure doesnt. First of all I HATE MUSTANGS. If you're comparing a mustang to a camaro, you have much to learn. And if you think a camaro is something a person who never went to college is for. Then if you don't mind asking. What do you drive??
