I recently purchased and upgraded to Intuos4 by Wacom. Its an incredible tablet and was worth every penny I paid for!

This is sort of a crappy demo on just how amazing it is, sorry I don't have any good art examples, but hopefully this demo can show how the many applications to your artwork. Artists will hopefully see the benefits of owning a tablet such as this one, and it doesn't have to be a Large, any size I'm sure will do, but I recommend M - L sizes. ;)

Any serious artist needs a tablet, so I recommend Intuos4!

  • i have some questions for you before i buy this product since you have purchased already .

    - what are the negative things you faced so far with Wacom Intuos4 ?

-Is there any better product than this one i mean more accurate , no errors specially when u put ur hand over the touch board because i noticed one of the videos of this product is like keep opening brush boxes by mistake when your hand touch the screen by mistake?

-what is better Intuos4 or cintiq 12 ?

    thank you in advance

  • @SuperPhotoshopgeek Negative: The tablet surface wears out over time If you use it a lot like me, so you have to replace it once every like 6 months or so, its not too expensive, but yah, kind of a pain when it messes with your level of accuracy. And I've only ever used Intuos3 and Wacom Graphire4 tablets, so I have no idea, but I heard Cintiq's are amazing, but super expensive.

  • @sugarpoultry thanks but i think you can fix this thing by wearing a glove, no ?

  • @SuperPhotoshopgeek I guess, I've never tried it.

  • I'm reading that there are programs that come with the tablet. I just want to draw and sometimes draw OVER graphics/images (like a building, etc). Is there one program that's better then the others? Which one do you use or can one install all of them? Thanks :)

  • @laurentkm3 I use Photoshop CS5. I assume you mean like layers?

  • @sugarpoultry - YES! That's the term I was trying to figure out, layers. Thanks for the reply :)

  • @simulation911 In the tablet settings you can set each settings style to individual programs. Settings for Illustrator, Photoshop, Painter, etc. All can be set differently. And I believe medium and up have the side buttons. I don't think the small has one, but you just gotta check. ;)
